About Chad's Testimony
Raised in a Christian home, Chad believed in God but built his identity around baseball, the approval of others, and the things he could achieve. Behind that life, addictions to alcohol and pornography deepened in secret. After an injury ended his baseball career, an encounter with God during worship began drawing him into a personal relationship with Jesus. In this testimony, Chad shares how confessing what he had hidden, experiencing his wife’s unconditional love, and receiving Christ’s forgiveness opened a path toward freedom. Through counseling, accountability, and Christian community, he continues to discover the grace of a God who has never stopped changing him.
